So because people have abused the system (what else is new) I now have a hell of a time getting my prescription of Adderall filled. According to different media outlets and such, I've learned that the DEA has forced the companies making Adderall to limit the production. I ask only why? Yes, the DEA has their hands full with illegal drugs coming into and out of this country faster than any illegal immigrant could ever do, but with something that is controlled and has been controlled by prescription-only forever, why does this need to be done? Those of us that are forced to live with ADD and ADHD have to suffer from having the almost impossible task of tracking down a pharmacy that has it. Basically forcing us to blindly compete with one another to see who gets the last batch at the local Walgreens or CVS. You can forget going to the grocery store pharmacy or Wal Mart because they won't carry it anyway. If you are lucky enough to find a pharmacy that has it, then you have to deal with the fact that they only have the generic form which does not work remotely as efficient.
It's bad enough that I have to deal with having ADD and needing to have the meds, but when Ass-Clowns in Washington get involved it really does screw things up for those of us that actually need it and use it as it is prescribed. If anyone in Washington is monitoring this (doubt I'm that important) you need to re-evaluate your thought process and fix the real problems instead of making life for some of us very difficult. I could also apply most of this to the argument of not being able to buy Sudafed only when the pharmacy is open... Again, not all people are cooking meth... I re-iterate the "Ass-Clown" comment...

Elections... Why?
This is my first attempt to vent my frustration on the government and therefore could fail, however I am fed up to the gills with the operation of the government and all that our so-called "leaders" say they are trying to for us, "the people". This past Tuesday the country was inundated with election coverage. My question is just this, why? What does it matter? I know I'll get comments like, "it's your civic duty to vote," or "if you don't vote, you can't complain," or some other B.S. I'm tired of it. It's all a ruse. I liken it to organized religion (ohhhh yeah, I can hear the collective "hisssssss" now) too many people follow it because they are told to do so. Listen, all I'm trying to say is pay attention what we have right now.
This government was founded on the principle of government of the people, for the people and by the people. I know politicians are Americans and they are by definition "by the people", but they're really not. I don't believe a guy that has not ever had to worry if the next paycheck would cover rent, insurance, food and clothing. Now, I know not every politician was born with a silver spoon, but I am willing to bet they weren't starving on unemployment or working a job making $9.75 an hour while trying to support a family. These people keep feeding the tired lines of I know what it's like to work hard and not have my check go very far. Sure they probably did work a crappy job when they were in college. We're given this baloney all the time and the collective group buys into a guy shaking hands with "Joe the plumber" or a steel worker. They haven't done the jobs, but they want us to believe they have.
Do I have the answer? No, but I think we should go back and read the Constitution and take it seriously. Yes, Constitution was written by the very same kind of people I'm against right now, but they did a few things different. They actually listened to the people. Our Senators, Congressmen and Governors say they want to hear from the citizens, but they really don't. Am I to believe that we all wanted the banks to get even more money because if the banking industry failed the planet would explode? If the world is run on credit, is that a good thing? How about what I've heard many elders say, if you want something, pay in cash and there's no question of ownership. I understand that if I want to buy a car, I need a bank loan, but my point is the banking industry made mistakes and we all paid for them. Another thing is the loans for the auto industry. I'm a firm believer that they did not need to shut their doors, but Detroit without Ford, Chevrolet and Chrysler is not right. Detroit IS the Motor City. Alas, though I do not think the government should have bailed them out while millions of Americans are suffering.
What can we do? I wish I could be a louder voice, for I am certain there are others out there that think similarly to me. We need to change the way things operate. If enough of us speak loud enough, we can be heard. We need to take our Nation back and let it be the Nation it was created to be: One Nation under God (or whomever), indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
